Our team is comprised of results-oriented philanthropists, community leaders, and passionate social entrepreneurs seeking scalable solutions to major social challenges.
We are loving parents, grandparents, passionate entrepreneurs, humanitarians, law abiding citizens, thinkers, doers, encouragers, and philantropists. Yes, we wear all of these hats at different times, and many simultaneously .
The Board of Directors & Advisors is made up of dedicated volunteers who receive no monetary compensation.
Nicky Dare’s skills and areas of expertise include Management Consulting, Corporate Strategic Planning, and serving as the Founder of the GMMC Consulting firm (Global Meta Management Consultants, Ltd.) since the early 1980's. Spanning over thirty years, Nicky's illustrious career in international management consulting, specializing in Business Process Re-Engineering "BPR" and Change Management, leadership, team, and relationship-building in corporate environments is an outgrowth of her time-honored commitment to excellence, loyalty, dedication and integrity. Raised in Houston, Texas in the 1970's, she completed her B.A. at the University of Houston, and traveled throughout the U.K., Scotland, and Southeast Asia. Nicky pioneered her own management consulting business at the early age of twenty one, received her MBA degree from IPMI Business School, and relocated to Southern California in the 1990's, where she raised her children and currently resides with her family. As a woman advocate, Nicky, who is a multilingual, continues to support her community by serving as committee members to various charity and networking organizations. She has been a loyal ambassador to The Arthritis Foundation, committee member and volunteer to Habitat For Humanity, The American Cancer Society, Relay For Life, and local churches. She has served as President to NAPW National Association of Professional Woman, Santa Clarita Chapter since 2012. For decades, her selfless dedication in volunteering to various groups have been her personal passion since her early youth. The credo of iDARE is the signature of her proven self journey to convey such passion into helping others in life. Nicky Dare is the Author of "The Audacity of Veracity" (2014). Currently she is working on her next two books which are scheduled to be published in late Spring 2016.
Nicky Dare's books and the startup of iDARE organization have been fully funded by her belated father whom has been her ultimate mentor and inspiration in life.
Sharon VentriceBoard Advisor
Sharon Ventrice has lived in the Santa Clarita Valley since March 1973 and has been involved with Veteran causes for many years. Her husband is a Vietnam Veteran (101st Airborne, Bien Hoa, 1967 - 68) and their Military is very near and dear to her heart. Her father was on Okinawa during WWII, her grandfather was in the Spanish American War and her great grandfather was in the Union Army in the Civil War. Sharon is a board member of the Santa Clarita Valley Veterans Memorial, Inc. which hosts the Tribute to Veterans each year on Memorial Day at Eternal Valley Park and Mortuary. She is a Lifetime associate member of the Vietnam Veterans of America, 355, and associate member of the American Legion, Post 507 where she assists with events to honor Veterans.
Roosevelt ScottBoard Advisor
Roosevelt “Rosie” Scott has served in the United States Marine Corps, USMC, for 13 years. Rosie’s military and law enforcement background includes Special Response Team (SRT), who provided security for executives of the U.S. Department of Energy, team leader of the SRT who trained with L.A.P.D. SWAT, British Special Air Service (S.A.S), the FBI'S Hostage Rescue Team (HRT), and numerous specialized teams from all over the United States. Roosevelt worked with a security detail to provide protection for executives at Disney, Sony, Paramount and Warner Brother Studios and Warner Brother Records. After serving 10 years on the police force, Roosevelt joined the Kern County District Attorney’s office as an Investigator, where he worked for 12 years.
William KinseyBoard Advisor
In the past 20 years, Mr. Kinsey has developed successful organizations throughout Asia, concentrating in China. He has been in the analytical instrumentation market for over 30 years. Mr. Kinsey has held most positions in sales and marketing organizations, as an Application Chemist, Application Manager, Product Manager, Marketing Manager, Sales Manager, VP of Sales and Marketing and International Sales and Marketing positions. Currently, he is the Managing Director of TSI Inc. based in China. He has set up and managed successful and profitable distribution organizations globally.
David GrayBoard Advisor
David Gray started his combative arts and firearms training at a very young age and in 1992 started to work in the security industry at 18 years of age as an armed security officer in a high crime area in Texas. In 1995 Just before his 21st birthday Mr. Gray joined the US Marines as an infantryman. In 1996 Mr. Gray joined an elite marine reconnaissance unit that specialized in counter drug and counter terrorism activities. Soon he found himself traveling the world and engaging in counter drug, counter terror, and combat operations as well as training allied military forces in marksmanship, weapons handling and tactics. After being shot twice and receiving multiple other injuries Mr. Gray left the military in 2001 for the civilian world and became a firearms instructor at Firearms Training Institute in Nevada. During his time in Nevada Mr. Gray began working as a close protection specialist and firearms consultant and military advisor for the film industry which he did until 2009. From 2009 to 2011 Mr. Gray worked as Protective Security Detail leader in Afghanistan and trained military and security personnel in marksmanship and combat related firearms tactics. Mr. Gray has carried a firearm for a living for over 23 years and has 20 years of high level military combat arts and firearms training with real world combat experiences to offer his clients and students.
Michelle Bunyan is CTEC Tax Preparer with over 15 years experience preparing taxes, business bookkeeping and payroll management for various types of business entities, specializing in non-profit organizations.
Maria ValenciaBoard Assistant
Maria Valencia has served for decades in different areas primarily assisting in overall administration and coordinating necessary meeting documents. Ms. Valencia prepares and distributes business packets a the board meeting. Attends all Board Meetings. Record and maintain the minutes of each board meeting. Maintain all company files in a manner compliant with organizational policies as well as any laws that regulate the industry, these documents may include the organizations's article of incorporation, bylaws, and contact lists.
Neyba OsornioWebsite & Graphic Design
Neyba will be joining our web design team to manage social media platforms during the transition phase of new website.
Ebony SmithMarketing and Social Media Management
Ebony comes from a long history of volunteering and giving back to her community. Some of her favorite projects to have worked on in the past include mentoring, feeding the homeless and building homes with Habitat for Humanity. In addition to her community efforts, Ebony is currently pursing a degree in Marketing while also running her own company, Artistry Media and Marketing.

Brandon Perergrino is our talented videographer / photographer whose main duties are managing and maintaining all documents and stories of industry events.
Derek Lara is our talented event photographer who documents our community events, classes, lectures, workshops throughout the year.
